Foundation Training endorsement requires that you submit all your own materials ie Learner Manual, assessment strategy, tutor resources, lesson plans, systems and processes etc. However, PD:Approval can also provide you with a Technical Manual and the Anatomy & Physiology Manual, Learner Assessment Pack and MCQs (fees apply), as well as a Plan of Delivery. Alternatively, if you need support creating or adapting your own materials, consider using one of our Technical Consultants who can help with:

PD:Approval Manual, POD and Assessment

Submit your application using your own learner manuals and utilising the support outlined above if required, or use PD:Approval's learner manual/s, plan of delivery (POD) and assessment for Sport Massage. By using our materials, you will fulfil much of the criteria required for endorsement. Your successful students will also benefit from official Certificates of Achievement which will give them entry to the Sports Therapy Association. Our certificates contain a QR code and a unique certificate number for security, and will include your company logo .

Fees if using PD:Approval's learning resources

• Technical Manual including Anatomy & Physiology: £50 per learner (approx €54).
• Learner Assessment Pack & MCQs: £200 (approx €418)
• POD: no charge

Registration fees

• Registration and certification: £25 per learner (approx €28) (plus manual cost/s if using PD:Approval's resources).

Pay as you go

Selecting the Assessed Training pay as you go option (PAYG) allows you to take advantage of the benefits of endorsement for one or just a few training programmes and build up your delivery portfolio gradually.

For quality assurance purposes, PAYG providers may be required to undergo PDA's self-evaluation process within their endorsement period as part of our sampling policy. Full details of our quality assurance standards and process can be found here.

If you plan to offer a number of training programmes and want to have more flexibility with your endorsement, then take a look at the Bundle option.

Important Information: Certain fitness training programmes must be submitted under the Assessed Training category as the technical knowledge being taught is not covered in the qualification framework. Therefore to ensure depth of knowledge is sufficiently covered and competence of this new skill is assessed the following programmes will only be considered as an Assessed Training submission (this list is not exhaustive):

Boxing, kettlebells, suspension training, handstands, group indoor cycling, Olympic lifting, pole fitness/dancing, boot camps, strapping and taping, and High Intensity/High Intensity Interval Training (HIT/HIIT), as well as circuits and aqua programmes that contain any of these elements.

If a provider has an Assessed Training endorsement in one of the above categories, subsequent endorsement applications for associated disciplines will be accepted as Non-Assessed Training where the Assessed Training programme is specified as the pre-requisite.

Bundle

An Assessed Training Bundle enables you to endorse up to three training programmes, which must include at least one Assessed programme via a full submission. Once approved, you can add two other programmes to your Bundle at no extra cost, and then more CPD in any of the other endorsement options at a special Bundle rate of 50% of the normal submission price.

All Bundle providers will receive a virtual support and monitoring visit during each annual endorsement period, which is included in the endorsement fee. A grading system is in place up to a maximum status of Outstanding. Full details of our quality assurance standards and process can be found here.

If you have a large number of training ideas or programmes, then you can make a considerable saving through the Unlimited option.

Choose Unlimited here and your Assessed submission will enable you to can get all your other Assessed, Non-Assessed, Informal and Events programmes endorsed at no extra cost and without having to submit further endorsement applications.
