Certification provided by PD:Approval is an option available to all endorsed providers.

Please note: Only training providers with full approval can register learners. Learners submitted by training providers without approval will not be processed, and it could affect their on-going endorsement application or result in termination of the contract we have with them.

STAGE 1: Learner Registration

Learners must be registered with PD:Approval at the latest within seven days of the start date of the training they have chosen, ie the Course Start Date you will provide when registering. Failure to register learners within the time frame may lead to a sanction from PD:Approval and could affect your on-going endorsement. Any learner not registered will not be certificated by PD:Approval.

A payment of £40 (+VAT if applicable) per learner per award is required which covers the registration fee and certification costs. It also provides protection to the learner for their certification should the need arise. If you are using your own teaching, learning and assessment materials have remaining registration credits, these will be used until your credit is nil (50 minimum order each endorsement year). If you are using PD:Approval's teaching, learning and assessment materials, an additional charge will be added once you have used the manual credits you have purchased in advance (50 minimum order each endorsement year).

Please note: You must gain permission from your learners on enrolment to pass their information to us, which will be used solely for the purposes of recording their assessment status and issuing a Certificate of Achievement for those who have passed.

Before completing the form and for a successful registration, you need to have the following information for each learner:

  • Approved Training Provider (ATP) Code (the code given to you at approval)
  • First name (the learner's legal first name)
  • Middle name/s (the learner's legal middle name, if applicable)
  • Last name (the learner's legal surname)
  • Email address
  • Date of birth (the learner's legal birth certificate date)
  • Unique Learner Number (the unique number you have allocated to the learner and is required for security and identification purposes)
  • Course Code(the unique code for the course the learner is on)
  • Course Start Date (the date the course started)
  • Date of learner’s registration (the date they registered with you on to the award)
  • Award (choose the award to be undertaken).

STAGE 2: Learner Status Update

Once your registered learners have completed their assessment you will need to update us with their status, so that certificates can be sent to successful learners.

PDA will provide you with an official, secure Certificate of Achievement electronically as a PDF document for each of those learners whose status has been updated to pass on our website and where their registration fee has been paid. The certificate will contain a QR Code to protect against copying, and will have a unique certificate number, the qualification they have achieved, your provider name and the date the learner passed their final assessment. Certificates are processed every Wednesday for learners whose status is recorded as ‘passed’ and payment has been received by 4pm UK time on the preceding Tuesday, and we will send an email to the Main Contact by the end of the same week to inform them that copies of the certificates have been uploaded to their Dropbox.

Click the link below and insert your ATP code. This will produce a list of your registered learners who have not yet either passed or been referred or withdrawn so that you can record their status to update our records.

Confidentiality:

Your learners' details will be kept securely on a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with a two step verification process for access, and will not be shared. Records will continue to be stored until the learner informs us that they wish them to be removed, so that duplicate certificates can be provided on request. PD:Approval complies with all requirements for General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and is a member of the Information Commissioner's Office (IOC). All members of PD:Approval have signed a Code of Confidentiality.
