Steps to Accreditation

Visit the ICREPs website to view the initial application process and to ensure your organisation meets the eligibility criteria.

On the ICREPs website, you will find the application form to start your accreditation journey. Fill it in and submit, after which you will be asked to make your payment.

Complete the Accreditation Pack request form. The pack contains a mapping toolkit if using your own materials and a Resource Bundle with useful templates and information

The Accreditation Guide will give you details of all the evidence you need to provide so do check it thoroughly to ensure you have everything ready to submit. We will also allocate you a Submission Support Manager who will arrange a virtual meeting with you to answer any questions you may have - make sure you read through the Accreditation Guide and have your questions ready before your meeting! The online submission process lets you collate your evidence at your own pace by allowing you to save it with a password so you can return to it later, and remember to check out the Resource Bundle in your Accreditation Pack which will support your submission. Also, make sure you also save all your evidence on your own computer before adding it to the online submission form.

Your submission will be evaluated against the ICREPs Global Standards by an independent qualified sector expert who will provide a detailed report within 15 working days*. The report will tell you if the criteria has been achieved for approval. However, if actions are required the report will provide detailed feedback with an appropriate time frame for completion of the actions.

* An additional fee of 300 USD may be incurred if further evaluation is required.

Your appointed External Quality Assurer (EQA) will be in touch post approval to arrange a virtual review during your first assessments. They will also carry out an external quality assurance check during each annual accreditation period after your first renewal. This check will look at your delivery, assessment, systems and processes and will provide support to help you maintain the quality of delivery you achieved at approval. We may also carry out an EQA check if we have received a complaint which needs to be investigated, or if we have concerns about your accredited training (fees will apply).

Renewal of your accreditation will take place annually - make a note in your diary although we will remind you beforehand.
